What right would you give up?

I was in Government yesterday when my teacher asked the class:

What right would you give up?

Religion: 3 would give their right to religion up.
Speech: 4 would give up their freedom of speech.
Press: 3 would give up their freedom of the press.
Assembly: 1 would give up his right to assemble.
Petition: 13 would give up their right to petition.

Hey girl,

First of all, thanks for asking me to check out your new entry. I always check your blog when I am online:-)

Ok, concerning your entry: I can not give any credence to it, or find any encouragement in it. I am grateful that so many are willing to keep their right for freedom of religion, but I question to what extend that willingness would go.

In this case, everyone asked, knew there were no consequences attached to it. What if there were? I have no doubt that out of the 21 who chose for freedom of religion, several would give it up if presented with consequences for their choice.
For instance:
a) give up that freedom and you would get straight A's for the rest of your entire education, without having to do anything
or:
b)If you keep that freedom we will make you work 10 times harder and do everything to obstruct you from reaching your goal.
Now, what do you think would happen in this case?:
Revelations 13:15
15He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

Many people will react to their wants and fears. Many will choose happiness in their earthly life over eternal happiness in the after life. People's willingness will change like the wind when it causes them trouble and/or hurt.It takes commitment, determination and Faith. A willingness is nice and hopeful, but when push comes to shove, we can not count on it,nor expect it to follow through.

I am looking forward to hearing your considerations on this:-)

God's Grace.
